Total Quality Management is an unlimited improvement philosophy which only accesable for persons . Such a viewpoint is related to the lack of quality only by inspection of goods and services The priority of Total Quality Management is improvement of quality based on upon labors .
Total Quality Management means group management method for performing of jobs and continuous improvement of quality and capabilities and management talents and human labors .
The situation of today universities needs some improvement and quality increase including the following cases:
Process evaluation , acceptance of students .Upgrading the attraction of universities for students improvement of educational courses ,Speed of presenting better educational & training services .
Improvement of workshops ,Laboratories , Improvement of evaluation methods of professors . personel and students of university , Improvement of class time tabling ,creation required motivations for upgrading scientific level of students and professors ,more cooperation of them in promotion of scientific and research goals of universities ,Reduction of costs and finally Improvement of Learning –Teaching process.
This paper intend to explain any necessity for applying Total Quality Management at universities and its application in Teaching-Learning process.Furthermore and with regard to the real goal of Total Quality Management in improvement of production system quality and providing a high quality product , we have compared it with Teaching-Learning process ,then we will explain how Total Quality Management could apply required results which have been obtained in prior by industry .
In another view of Total Quality Management , we will consider unlimited cycle of improvement in production system which is really applicable in the field of education and training ,Infact it may lead universities educational System toward continuous improvement of quality and enriching students to bear innovative and active thiking when facing with complex problems and today variants in the field of sciences ,researches and technology .
In this paper ,Firstly we will have a quick glance in applying of Total Quality Management in education ,The major goal of Crosby & Deming is simplifying educational methods especially in universities ,Then it may evaluate Crosby & Deming method in the field of education ,Finally,after introducing a special model , it may draw an image about application of Total Quality Management at higher Education level and finding out all major goals of TQM as well .
